THE VERGE OF
Only two infertile female Northern White Rhinos are left on the earth. But their eggs may still be viable...
The eggs need to be retrieved by a process that is harmless to the females before the females are any older or are poached for their horn.
With these eggs, sperm samples we already have and Southern White Rhino surrogate females, we estimate three years until we can produce both male and female pure-bred Northern White Rhino calves.
Current estimates of the cost to obtain this objective is $4 million dollars, but time is critical.
Those of us supporting this project are reaching out to the international community for help. Because of the age of the two surviving females and the viability of frozen sperm, we are in a bit of a time crunch.
We are asking for your help to accomplish this miraculous achievement.
